The Fruits of Multiculturism
After over two weeks of nightly rioting, authorities in France have gained the upper hand in the conflict. Thousands of cars and buses have been torched and several schools and business have been fire-bombed.
The rampage began October 27 when two Arab youths, fleeing what they mistakenly thought was a police pursuit, hid in a power substation and were electrocuted. Their deaths ignited the revolt.
The rioters are of Muslim and African descent. While most of them hold French citizenship, they are not part of the French culture. Having never been assimilated into French society, they live in France but are not French.
The liberal media has tried to tag racism and economical hardship as the cause of the unrest. If liberals want to find the real cause, they should look in the mirror. Their worldwide lobbying for "Great Society"-type programs is what got France into this mess.
Despite the impressions being made by the press, the French have actually spent billions on its Muslim and African nationals. In the 1980s, hundreds of billions of francs were earmarked for the building of housing complexes, as well as extra funding for schools and youth associations in the suburbs. In the 1990s, tax-free zones were set up, providing incentives for companies to create jobs in the suburbs. In 2004, the Social Affairs Ministry initiated a new plan aimed at tackling unemployment, discrimination and housing problems.
As long you having people who view themselves as a country within a
country, the money for society programs will continue to be wasted. The economic
isolation can only be broken by the integration of these people into the
mainstream society.
In any nation, the main culture needs to be given top priority. The
majority needs to allow for freedom of religion and expression. However, that accommodation should never require the majority to bow to the wants or wishes of a minority group.
Here are two examples of how British society is bent on following a policy of appeasement to its Muslim minority:
The fast-food chain, Burger King, is withdrawing its ice cream cones after the lid of the dessert offended a Muslim. The man claimed the design resembled the Arabic inscription for Allah, and branded it sacrilegious, threatening a jihad. The chain is being forced to spend thousands of
pounds redesigning the lid with backing from The Muslim Council of
Britain.
It apologized and said: "The design simply represents a spinning ice-cream cone."
British banks are banning piggy banks because they may offend some Muslims. Halifax and NatWest banks have led the move to scrap the time-honored symbol of saving from being given to children or used in their advertising, the Daily Express/Daily Star group reports. Muslims do not eat pork, as Islamic culture deems the pig impure.
After initially doing very little to combat the rioting, the French government eventually imposed curfews. Because the Bible predicts a trend towards ecumenism in the last days, I look for Paris to apply more appeasement bandages to the problem.
I think unrest will play right into the hands of the Antichrist. He will be the ultimate peacemaker who will unify all religions into a single organization which he will control. The only people who not fit unto the Antichrist's "harlot" church will be the true believers.
"And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will show unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters: With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication. So he
carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH" (Rev. 17:1-5).

A Form of Godliness
Paul the apostle prophesied what I’m convinced is one of the most ubiquitous signals in our time that we live at the very end of the Church Age. He wrote, under divine inspiration: “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall…[have] : a form of godliness, but [ will deny] the power thereof…” (2 Tim. 3: 1-2, 5).
America is caught in the middle of Paul’s last-days forewarning. While “In God we trust” is on our currency and coinage, and engraved in the marble of our government buildings, our children are not allowed to pray, read the Bible, or even, it seems, hear the name of Jesus Christ mentioned.
A Delaware public high school principal recently allowed a couple of Philadelphia Eagle pro football players to speak to an assembly during school hours. He abruptly apologized to parents who expressed offense because their children told them the players mentioned Christ as a person after whom the kids would do well to model their lives.
We’ve written before in this column about the nation’s schizophrenia when it comes to matters of God. America indeed has a form of godliness, but denies its power. It is one more signal among a growing list of indicators of where we stand on God’s prophetic timeline.
We are allowed to use the name of God in some cases, but not in others. It depends upon circumstances, forums, and political correctness. Native Americans are allowed to invoke their nature gods, the Muslims in some U.S. cities are allowed to call toward Mecca and Medina at prayer times –using megaphones and high-power public address systems. This, while there is the death penalty in many Muslim countries for even the hint of worship of Christ.
Study of the Islamic religion is actually offered as inculcation courses in some public schools. But, by law legislated from federal court benches, God’s name must never be attached with the name of Jesus Christ, who IS God.
The Cross of Christ is an offense to them, as it is an offense to Satan.
The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) –e.g., the Delaware ACLU that is raising a stink in the above-mentioned high school case—is more often than not allowed to steer the entire American ship of state, so far as the direction America should take in relationship to Almighty God. These fighters for libertinism are slowly but surely stripping the constitutional and founding fathers’ intended ropes of morality that tethered the nation to godliness in its early history. In concert with those in Congress who want no mention of God –and especially not of Jesus Christ— the organization is incrementally putting this country in the crosshairs of the Lord’s judgment.
The cross of Christ angers these, about whom God’s Word has something to say: “For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, [that they are] the enemies of the cross of Christ” (Phil. 3:18).
All of this said, however, the real crux of the severe spiritual depravity into which America continues to slide is found in the house of the Lord.
The movements to build great, swelling congregations at the expense of the righteousness demanded by God is pandemic within the Church of Jesus Christ. The pastors and their boards of directors who act in corporation-like fashion to erect increasingly opulent edifices, and who build elaborate media and entertainment centers, but who do so through quenching, or toning down the call to repentance of sin and soul cleansing by the blood of Christ, and instead preach and teach that God doesn’t judge or condemn –that He only loves—undoubtedly inflicts the greatest pain to the great heart of the Heavenly Father.
There is a significant scriptural follow-up to those who, whether by commission or omission, prove themselves enemies of the cross of Christ. It is a frightful condemnation that should shake any pastor to the core, if he is indulging in the horrendous apostate-activity of shunning the cross of Jesus Christ and His shed blood for mankind in order to build a personal religious empire.
“Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things” (Phil. 3:19).
America has entered the “perilous times” that the Apostle Paul prophesied for the last days. The world is indeed nearing midnight, while we watch and endure the apostate juggernaut within Christianity, and the anti-God, anti-Christ humanistic maneuverings in today’s world. How long can it be until the God lost mankind seems to so detest says to His Son, “It’s time to bring the children home, Son”?
Terry's New Book: The Rapture Dialogue
This generation is seeing many signs, and experiencing conditions Jesus and the prophets foretold would be like birth pangs for a very troubled Planet Earth just before His return.
I’m convinced that one of the great signs that is not yet fully in view, but soon will be, is found in the Lord’s words in Luke 17: 26 –“And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.”
My new novel deals with this prophetic signal, which suddenly materialized at the mid- 20th century point, in my view. We are beginning to see increased fascination with the matter, and the major TV networks are jumping on the band-wagon.
The UFO phenomena can be intelligently probed by examination of Genesis, Chapter 6. This novel, and the sequels which I hope will follow, explore, through unique storyline and theme, the strange sightings, encounters, abductions and other aspects of this enigma. The characters run the prophetic gauntlet, from now to eternity, with particular focus on the earth-stunning event the Apostle Paul was referring to when he prophesied: “Behold, I show you a mystery…” (1 Cor. 15: 51)
As the author, I’m receiving a pre-worldwide release edition of 1000 copies this December. The novel will be released to the major markets in the spring, probably March.
