Interesting E-mail I've Received

I firmly believe prayer is an essential component for any mission to advance the Kingdom of God. It would be an absolute disgrace if I was only able to cite blind luck as the reason for Rapture Ready’s rise to prominence. There is no Mr. Luck who acts as a promotional agent for Christian organizations; however, there is a God in heaven who answers the prayers of this faithful flock. I firmly believe the prayers of fellow believers are the foundation of this site’s success. Over the years, I’ve periodically posted appeals for prayer in the Nearing Midnight update. Because of the importance of prayer, I’ve decided to make the appeal a permanent feature of this site.

Rapture Ready
Holy Father, guide the thoughts of everyone laboring to build Rapture Ready into a powerful witnessing tool. Grant this site the ability reach out a lost world before and after the rapture. Give us wisdom to create a strong network of mirror sites that will become the lifeline to millions of people. Use the upcoming book “Are You Rapture Ready?” to open up new avenues for evangelism. O Lord, most of all, let this site prosper from Your direct involvement. Do not allow it become a product of man’s invention. Let it be widely said that your grace was its secret to success.

Prayer for A Time Of War
Dear Lord, give President George Bush guidance in this time of war. Direct him into making the right decisions that will result in the least amount of bloodshed. Protect our military members as they enter the field of battle. Be the companion of all ministers, doctors, nurses and all others engaged in deeds of physical and spiritual ministry within the theater of war. Shorten the fighting by bringing fear and confusion into the camp of the enemy. Convict the hearts of all noncombatants that need to trust in you as their ultimate protector.
“Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This [is] the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts” (Zec 4:6)

Prayer For America
O, Lord God, there is none other but you. Your strength and power, your might cannot be contained or measured. You make and break universes with a wave of omnipotent thought. You deliver nations, and you put them down with your immeasurably strong hand. You alone hold knowledge of and power over things present and things yet future.
O, Lord God, your mercy is without comparison. Your compassion defies human understanding. Your love is infinitely beyond the comprehension of this fallen world.
O, Lord God, your righteousness is pure and holy. Your truth is absolute authority that cannot be changed. Your judgment is perfect and terrible, but it is cleansing and restorative, and final.
O, Lord God, your people in America have sinned against you grievously. Your people have for the most part remained silent, while your enemy has, because of your people’s apathy, murdered millions of babies in their mothers’ wombs. Your people have grown rich compared to every other nation on earth, while the enemy has, through your people’s entertainment-mad, sin-filled slothfulness, perverted your ordained directives in every facet of life in this nation.
O, Lord God, we, your people, must repent. Your people must turn from the wickedness of which we have become an unholy part through living our day-by-day lives in uncaring disinterest for your call to holiness. Help us to again seek your face, O, Lord God. Help us turn from our wicked ways. Help us back on the righteous, faithful course upon which you first set our founding fathers.
O, Lord, our God, as your people turn to you, hear from heaven, forgive our innumerable sins. Heal our land, O Lord God. Use your power, righteousness, mercy and love to overcome your enemy, who is also our enemy.
O, Lord, our Mighty God, based upon your people's repentance, turn your terrible judgment from our nation, and preserve the rights and liberty you alone have granted.
In the mighty and majestic name of your Son, Jesus Christ--who created all things, by whom all things are held together, and who is coming again--to Him, the Savior, the Lamb who takes away the sins of the world, your people of America pray.

Guidance
Because there has been so many prophecy websites that have come and gone over the years, it is very needful that prayer be offered up for the continuance Rapture Ready. It takes a group effort to maintain this site as a major end time resource. The Lord Jesus already knows what is needed to draw people to this domain, but His blessings don’t come automatically. The powers of heaven can only be released by the intercessory prayers of saints. I ask all Bible believing Christians to stand with me in seeking after God’s guidance.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight” (Proverbs 3:5-6).

The rapid expansion of Rapture Ready has created a pressing need for a better way to present the site’s content. I am currently working with a web design firm to plan a new layout for the main page. Please pray that the Lord will direct us into making the changes that will in future allow the public to effortlessly find useful information.
"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened." (Matthew 7:7)
